Do you have loved ones that you are caring for and you are beginning to feel burnt out and stressed or is providing care is more than you can handle, then maybe it’s time to consider an assisted living facility.

What is assisted living?

Assisted living is a facility that provides seniors with assistance while allowing them to maintain as much privacy and independence as possible.

There are different names that are used to describe assisted living facility it can be described as an assisted living residence or assisted living community.

But whatever its called these facilities provides care and assistance with their daily task like assisting to bathe, dress, a reminder to take medications and whatever ADL they may need.

The Benefits And Side Effects Of Turmeric

In this post, I would like to take a closer look at turmeric I have dealt with  the benefits of spices

I am very interested in this particular spice as I had chronic knee pain I had to be taking 500mg  of naproxen as needed up to 3 times per day.

Spices for good health- Maintaining good health

There are certain herbs and spices that are not only excellent for bones and joints but are good for our overall health.  We will be looking at some of these today.   There are herbs  and spices that will minimize inflammation it the joints that cause pain

These supplements come in different forms, some come in powder, capsules or the leaves of the herbs itself.

SPICES:-

Basil, cinnamon, cayenne, cloves, cumin, turmeric, ginger, oregano, thyme, garlic, rosemary

Turmeric and curcumin – Turmeric’s yellow-orange pigment, curcumin, is the main active ingredient in this super spice. Curcumin’s anti-inflammatory benefits are actually comparable to prescribed drugs as well as over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medicines like Advil and Motrin. But, unlike the drugs, curcumin is not toxic at all.

In researching for this post I have found out that Curcumin decreases inflammation and oxidation in the brain. This spice also speeds up the recovery time from strokes as well.
