Spices for good health- Maintaining good health

There are certain herbs and spices that are not only excellent for bones and joints but are good for our overall health.  We will be looking at some of these today.   There are herbs  and spices that will minimize inflammation it the joints that cause pain

These supplements come in different forms, some come in powder, capsules or the leaves of the herbs itself.

SPICES:-

Basil, cinnamon, cayenne, cloves, cumin, turmeric, ginger, oregano, thyme, garlic, rosemary

Turmeric and curcumin – Turmeric’s yellow-orange pigment, curcumin, is the main active ingredient in this super spice. Curcumin’s anti-inflammatory benefits are actually comparable to prescribed drugs as well as over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medicines like Advil and Motrin. But, unlike the drugs, curcumin is not toxic at all.

In researching for this post I have found out that Curcumin decreases inflammation and oxidation in the brain. This spice also speeds up the recovery time from strokes as well.
